FOR SATOS SAKE Documentary 'rescue for life' is a 90 minute documentary film directed by New York Director/Executive Producer, Evelyn O. Vaccaro of EV Creative Productions. The film delves into the heart of Puerto Rico's homeless animal crisis and the dedicated rescuers who work tirelessly to save these animals.
The film showcases the inspiring stories of rescuers who have dedicated their lives to saving the lives of abandoned animals. It highlights their struggles, their triumphs, and their unwavering commitment to the cause. Through their stories, the film sheds light on the dire situation faced by homeless animals in Puerto Rico and the need for more awareness and support.
THE FACTS
Puerto Rico is home to an estimated 500,000 stray dogs. 1 million stray cats, hundreds of homeless horses and countless other animals that roam the streets without the basics: food, water, medical care . These animals live in deplorable conditions, suffering from malnutrition, disease, and abuse. The situation is dire, and the island's limited resources are stretched thin. Despite these challenges, dedicated rescuers work tirelessly to save as many animals as they can.
Through the film, we hope to raise awareness about the plight of homeless animals in Puerto Rico and the work being done to save them. We also hope to inspire viewers to get involved and support these rescuers in their mission to create a better world for animals in need.
